John is the CEO and Founder of the Thrive Group of Companies. He is responsible for leading Thrive’s overall operations, including strategic planning, investment decisions, capital commitments, and private fundraising. Thrive is an integrated group of companies focused on developing and investing in purpose-built multi-residential properties and master planned communities. He has been instrumental in leading Thrive’s emergence as one of the area’s premier multi-residential development and investment boutiques. John has established Thrive with the goal of democratizing high-quality multi-residential real estate investment opportunities in the Maritimes and creating wealth for our investors. He and his team are building long-term partnerships with their valued investors, proudly providing unique private investment opportunities that are grounded in the stable multi-family real estate sector. John directs and is a major co-investor in all of Thrive’s development projects and investments. Under John’s leadership, Thrive is developing numerous high-quality planned communities, residential, and mixed-use projects throughout the Maritimes. In addition to being an experienced real estate developer, Dr. John McManaman is an Orthodontist. He is the founder and serves as Chief Orthodontic Officer and board member of Canadian Orthodontic Partners, a national orthodontic service organization which owns and operates multiple Docbraces practices across the country. John holds a Master of Science (Orthodontics) degree from the University of Manitoba, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Mount Allison University.john.mcmanaman@
Robert is the COO and a Partner in the Thrive Group of Companies. He is responsible for day-to-day operations and for providing operational leadership to manage Thrive’s portfolio and development projects. Robert oversees our company’s processes with the constant goal of maximizing stakeholder value and satisfaction. Robert joined Thrive as a Partner after serving as the company’s external counsel for many years. He is a Partner and Co-Chair with Bingham Law, a full-service law firm located in Moncton, NB, who practices primarily in the area of corporate law and commercial transactions. As Chief Financial Officer, Steve is responsible for managing and reporting on all fiscal and economic elements of the Thrive Group of Companies. He provides leadership and collaborates with the team to develop financial strategies in order to achieve the organization’s investment goals and financial results. Steve assumes a strategic role in the management of the company through deal analysis, negotiations, investor relations, and asset management. His responsibilities include: strategic planning, raising debt and equity capital, investor relations, financial projections, and administration of income producing properties and land. As Director of Development, Erik leads Thrive’s real estate development division. He is responsible for implementing Thrive’s strategic goal of growing our real estate portfolio by creating capacity for innovative, efficient and effective development projects. In collaboration with the executive team, Erik identifies and assesses potential development projects, and works closely with our consultants, including design, engineering and construction to produce quality results in a timely and cost-effective manner. Erik coordinates public presentation and open communication of Thrive’s development projects to encourage resident and community engagement, ensuring Thrive maintains informative and collaborative relationships within the communities in which we do business. As the Controller, Tracy assists the CFO to ensure comprehensive financial controls and accurate reporting and forecasting for the Group of Thrive Companies. Tracy’s responsibilities include overseeing budget management, financial reporting, construction accounting, and general corporate accounting. Tracy provides property management administration support by managing rents, recoveries, and lease administration. Tracy coordinates administration and reporting relating to rents, recoveries and leases, ensuring all financial reporting requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.tracy.turner@
